Pompadour is a color not to mess around with. I love how intense is the color and modest at the same time. Pompadour is dark blue with a slight shine to your color. I am always on the search for any product that can make my brown eyes interesting and finally found it. I just add a little water on my brush and dip into the jar and spread this eye shadow on top of everything and my eyes makes me look pale brown almost a gold color. Who would have thought that the use of a shadow in a shade of brown would make my eyes look this fabulous. This definitely is a bit expensive and the bottle is small but the results are worth it. I managed to find this product by accident while looking for MAC pigments. I decided to try that particular color for my blue eyes stand out and was pleasantly surprised. I am very pale and bright colors make me look LimeCrime clown, but it is more subtle, and I love it. You do not get a lot of product, but it is highly pigmented gobs unless you use if you are going to last awhile. Moreover, the image makes it look a little purple-red, which is more of a terra-cotta, but I think it looks much better than the picture.
